“The initial sleep index was 37 (moderately severe)The MDSA deduced  this to 14 .Not ideal, but acceptable to the cardiologist for the purpose of controlling atrial fibrillation The CPAC machine reduced the index to less than 5. However ,for me the MDSA has enormous advantages over the CPAC machine .It is readily portable(I travel a lot).there is minimal maintenance required, there is no noise to disturb anyone else in the room and is less cumbersome to wear. To me ,it is just as effective in improving the way I feel about the quality of my sleep as the CPAC machine-& to my wife, it is just as effective in eliminating my snoring.”
